Who we are

Family Tradition Supply Co. was founded during the pandemic when Scotty and Justin recognized the need for a tattoo supply company built by tattooers, for tattooers. At a time when essential supplies were difficult to obtain and prices were rising, they began by purchasing a pallet of gloves to help fellow artists access quality products at fair prices.

What started as a small effort quickly grew into a full-scale supply operation. With a box truck of tattoo supplies, they traveled to local shops and tattoo conventions, building relationships and establishing a reputation rooted in trust, transparency, and respect for the tattoo community.

As the company evolved, so did its vision. Scotty and Justin set out to create their own tattoo ink from the ground up, not outsourced and not white labeled, but fully developed and produced in-house. In April of 2021, Family Tradition released its first black ink. From raw materials to finished bottles on the shelf, every step of production is handled internally, ensuring complete quality control and accountability.

In 2026, Family Tradition chose to concentrate on a smaller selection of core supplies and dedicate more attention to growing its ink line. Today, the brand offers 19 colors, two blacks, and one white, with more products in development.
